Honey Mustard Ham

Christmas Ham with Honey Mustard BBQ Glaze

The A-list celebrity of your Chrissy lunch. Big flavour. Big praise. Low effort (thanks to us).

Whether you’re carving for the family on Christmas Day or making legendary sandwiches well into January, this glazed ham is the showstopper. Featuring Fancy Hank’s Honey Mustard BBQ Sauce, it’s sweet, smoky, tangy, and just the right amount of fancy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 free-range ham (we used shoulder, but you do you)
  • 1 packet of whole cloves
  • 1 bottle Fancy Hank’s Honey Mustard BBQ Sauce

Method:

  1. Preheat your BBQ to 130°C. Lid down, low and slow is the way to go.
  2. Time to prep the ham. Run a sharp knife under the rind, cutting around the shank.
  3. Use your thumb to gently peel back the rind. Keep the fat layer intact—that’s where all the juicy flavour lives.
  4. Score the fat in a diamond pattern, then stud each corner with a clove. Classic.
  5. Baste generously with Fancy Hank’s Honey Mustard BBQ Sauce and place your ham on the BBQ with the lid closed.
  6. Every 20 minutes, baste again. Spoon or brush, just keep the glaze coming.
  7. After 90 minutes to 2 hours of slow-glazing glory, take the ham off and rest for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the cloves, slice it up, and serve warm or cold.

Pro Tips:

  • 🔥 Save those leftovers for the ultimate Boxing Day sanga.
  • 🥪 Fancy a toastie? Pair slices with mustard pickles and cheddar.
  • 🎁 The sauce makes a top-notch gift too—just saying.

Stock up on Fancy Hank’s Honey Mustard BBQ Sauce online or at your local stockist. This ham basically cooks itself (but you still get all the credit).
